Oh, how I’ve prolonged in creating an ABOUT page!! How how I loathe thee!?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I have been blogging for more than 3 years at various different places to get a good feel of the blogosphere. I have finally landed where my job has landed. While I still maintain 3 other blogs on things totally unrelated, I have started afresh at this blog.

Currently, I work as an HR, Training, and Organizational Development guy, which means a lot of work. I work for a well-known trucking company in the U.S. My time is divided between various training and organizational development initiatives with our department’s main emphasis being on Talent Development and Succession Planning. While I am not sure what on my resume got me this job, I do know that I bring a lot to the table. Because I am not a formally training business or HR person, I have a lot of outside-the-box ideas and thoughts.

Currently, my main initiative has been to bring my company to the Web 2.0 world and the utilization of social media for my company. While I am not convinced on how long I will stay in this role or a role like this, I am here now, and I will always remain a social media evangelist. I am excited about its potential, and I want to impact my company for its own betterment.

Along with my company, I do espouse Servant Leadership as the premiere and best leadership style and strategy. So any and all my blogs related to leadership will be along these lines.

You can find me on Twitter, Slideshare, and elsewhere (just ask me on Twitter). Feel free to connect with me at any time! Thanks!

PLEASE NOTE: My thoughts, words, and actions on this blog do not necessarily represent the views of my company in any way, shape, or form. I have done everything I can to hide my company’s name so as to prevent anyone from misconstruing what I say. I will always refer to my company as my company. I will also refer to my company for any past companies that I have worked for, so it does not necessarily mean that it is about my current company, unless denoted as such.
